About the Sister City Student Ambassador Programs

The Sutherland Shire Sister Cities Association is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive program and through that program to promote those principals in the Sutherland Shire and Chuo City communities.

The Sister Cities Association is committed to take all measures to follow Sutherland Shire and New South Wales Department of Education guidelines and policies:

Sutherland Shire has two Sister City Agreements - one with Chuo City in Tokyo, Japan, and one with Lakewood in Denver, Colorado, USA.   Please scroll down for more information .......

In Sutherland, all Sister City agreements are supported by Community members. The Sister City responsibilities are split between Sutherland Shire Council and Community Volunteer Associations made up of members of the community.

Sutherland Shire Council is responsible for all contact at a Government level. The Community Associations are responsible for the day-to-day running, organisation and promotion of all other contact between the two communities.
